Is Obama the Messiah? Change you can BELIEVE in?

There is apparently a whole website devoted to (mocking) the fact that Obama is the Second Coming. (I think it's mocking it). Here it is: http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/

I also found this You Tube clip on the Obama Messiah website that shows images of Obama interspersed with real quotes of what people have said about him. It is set to Depeche Mode's song, "Personal Jesus." Yes folks... it's Barack Obama, "reach out and touch him." http://youtube.com/watch?v=5UhXaE_XL_8

This has to remind us all of the quote by G.K. Chesterton, “When men stop believing in God they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything.”

Finally, if Obama is the Messiah, where was he on Easter Sunday? He missed a great sermon by the NEW pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ who continued with more insane comments. You can read more about that story here: http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/03/23/in-eastor-sermon-trinity-united-pastor-compares-rev-wright-to-jesus/

Michele Malkin asked that same question on her blog. Apparently, Obama headed to the beach. The most likely bet was the U.S. Virgin islands. I think Obama wanted to get as far away from Trinity United Church of Christ as he could. Or maybe he just wanted to spend some days in the sand before he continued to launch his messianic mission.
